The Ohio State University’s Food Industries Center Logo

Description:
The Ohio State University’s Food Industries Center offers a wide variety of fee-based services for food industry companies, startup entrepreneurs, and related institutions within Ohio, parties located in close proximity to the state, and nationally.

Our faculty and industry experts work together to provide industry short courses on food safety and dairy, applied contract research, and product development. The FIC pilot plants are fully equipped for product and process development of dairy, beverages, snack foods, fruits and vegetables, bakery, pasta, and more.

The pilot plants are FDA and ODA inspected, meeting safety and sanitation needs, while equipment mobility permits rearrangement to desired product flow patterns.
